Venango is a small borough nestled in the north-central part of Crawford County, Pennsylvania. It was founded by early settlers in 1838. French Creek borders the borough on its east, while Venango and Cambridge Townships surround the small town.
Mostly residential, some local businesses include the Venango General Store, Double D’s, and the Venango Valley Inn. US Highways 6 and 19 cut through the middle of town; north to Cambridge Springs and south to Saegertown. The local school district is Penncrest and students attend Cambridge Springs school.
We believe whole-heartedly in our motto – Venango Borough, A Nice Place to Live.
